GPAINNOVA, the global leading company in surface finishing electropolishing technologies and specializing in marine robotics, medical devices and high-performance power electronics, will be attending the third edition of Global Industrie Lyon 2021, the France’s largest industrial exhibition. This trade fair, focused on industrial goods and technology, will feature about 2,500 exhibitors, 40% of them international, and will be held from September 6 to 9 at Eurexpo Lyon. During the event, GPAINNOVA will be showcasing its industrial solutions based on its electropolishing systems, DLyte and MURUA, at hall 6, booth number 76.

Besides MURUA, a liquid electropolishing device for precious metals; DLyte 100I, the largest compact dry electropolishing machine, and DLyte PRO500, the most advanced and powerful dry electropolishing equipment, GPAINNOVA will be exhibiting for the first time at a French trade fair its newest machine: DLyte Desktop PRO, the first ultra compact dry electropolishing device on the market. Due to its low price, from €12,000, it is affordable to any factory.

A Complete Range of Surface Finishing Solutions for Manufacturing Industries

GPAINNOVA will make trials with the new DLyte Desktop PRO, which was launched in April 2021. Due to its low price, its small dimensions (450 x 521 x 471 mm) and for not requiring a special pre-existing or compressed air installation (it works with a plug-and-play system), this device allows any company, no matter the size, to successfully automate its production.

DLyte Dekstop PRO is suitable to treat cobalt-chrome (CoCr), titanium and stainless-steel pieces with the standard software, and additional metals with an optional software upgrade. This upgrade can treat several metals (for example, copper, brass, nickel alloys and hard metals). Visitors will be able to bring their own samples to be polished with this innovative machine.

GPAINNOVA will be also showing DLyte PRO500, the ultimate solution for mass production. This equipement provides a high quality and fully automated surface treatment for high value, delicate or complex parts, and with specific finishing requirements and high precision. DUe to the combination of an electrochemical process and a careful mechanical movement, it is possible to eliminate the roughness of the pieces. DLyte PRO500 offers important technical advantages over other technologies, such as abrasive finishing, robotic scouring and polishing and mechanical brushing.

GPANNOVA’s booth will host too DLyte 100I, a compact machine for grinding and polishing steel, stainless-steel, cobalt chrome, nickel, titanium, carbon steel, aluminium and carbides, among others. The company will be explaining the main benefits of its brand DLyte, and how its dry electropolishing solutions can be implemented as a post-processing solution in AM. Due to its high component of innovation, the DLyte system was granted the TCT Award for Excellence in Additive Manufacturing Post-Processing in September 2018.

Finally, the group will show the advantages of MURUA Universal. Developed in 2014 and patented a year later, is the smallest machine in passive layer technology to work with gold, palladium-coated gold, silver, copper and brass. This machine allows the polishing in a single step, providing a mirror effect finish and in an automated way, while facilitating the polishing of parts that cannot be accessed either manually or mechanically. MURUA technology is suitable for aesthetic parts and jewelry components with minerals, such as diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, opals and amethysts, natural or synthetic, among others.
