ROLE’S CORE PURPOSE for our US Sales Leader is to generate New Partner opportunities. We will turn those opportunities into revenue generating profitable partnerships, sourcing creative access to key target clients through networking, and marketing collaborations to identify, build and develop a network of key business stakeholders, decision makers and influencers. 

This role will target existing and new markets using insight based selling techniques by identifying challenges within prospective target partner customer operations and business models to gain access to key stakeholders. 

 

LEAD WITH BUSINESS EXCELLENCE to…  

  • Build and maintain effective and professional relationships and close cooperation with key internal customers and support teams, including client services, global sales, technical and operations 
  • Visit potential customers to prospect for new business 
  • Develop quotations proposals, negotiates fees, terms and conditions as necessary 
  • Present a streamlined technology solution developing a detailed analysis of customized needs in challenging areas 
  • Secure appropriate legal documents for client relationships, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements and statements of work 
  • Work to fully qualify all opportunities for sales to accounts in assigned channels 
  • Develop close cooperation with the client’s service team to ensure the ease and transparency of client information and requirements 
  • Develop sales and marketing plans with the sales manager to ensure the achievement of targets 
  • Attend industry and trade show events for lead generation and prospecting 
  • Work closely with the business unit managers when responding to a request for proposal (RFP) to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues, and the current competition on the program 
  • Make presentations to various groups within the customer’s organization when needed 
  • Acts as the lead person on preparing the written proposal in response to the customer’s RFP, coordinates all information from the different disciplines, and arranges the formal response

  • Role modeling learn-it-all culture, building and developing high-performing teams to deliver customer outcomes 
  • Demonstrating leadership skills to run a best-in-class sales operation based in the US 
  • Empower teams to take necessary time for external focus (customers & partners) and prioritize time towards external focus (for self & account teams) 
  • Knows how to liaise with our HQ in Barcelona to fulfill training, orders and maintain excellent communications back and forth. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background in Business, Marketing, Analytic Science or related field 
  • Demonstrated Sales Leadership Skills in previous assignments  
  • Technical training and/or Engineering background/experience highly valued 

 

EXPERIENCE  

  • 7+ years demonstrated sales success in the professional service industry 
  • 2+ years of project/contract management experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in international / multi-cultural environments 
  • 1+ years of experience in polishing sector, techniques or products (desirably)  

 

SKILLS: 

  • Experienced at leading and influencing C-Level discussions with target clients 
  • Curiosity to uncover the challenges being faced by target clients and a problem-solving ability to develop a solution in real-time 
  • Commercially astute with an intuitive understanding of the stage of a prospect’s decision-making process and the steps necessary to move them through their decision-making process 
  • Strong experience and competency in “Closing” Deals 
  • Ability to map stakeholders and to network within a target client organization 
  • Disciplined progression and reporting of opportunities 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and effectively manage priorities through logical analysis so as to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Must Possess Excellent Verbal Skills (Experienced Customer Relations Communicator), Writing, Editorial and Public Speaking Skills 
  • Congenial and Flexible Attitude (works well with others) 
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, ability to effectively resolve conflict 
  • Experience in building and developing diverse and inclusive teams
